Hindu Queen Serpent Water Goddess of the Naga Wall Statue in Heavy Brass
Hindu Goddess. Naga Kanya has the body of a serpent, the torso of a womban, she has bird wings, and hooded cobras presiding up above her crown with a shell embraced into her hands.
In Hindu mythology, Nagas are serpentine spirits who reside in the underworld, protecting and offering the teachings of the Mother Goddess. They are said to guard all esoteric and mystical teachings. And they offer protection and gifts to the seeker. She is also regarded as a Tantric goddess and protector of Dharma.
She is approximately 13 inches tall and 7 inches across at widest points. she weighs just over 3 pounds.... she is very beautifully crafted. You might recognize her from my storefront, I had a wall statue of her behind my counter on the back altar wall.
