Handcrafted Evil Eye Protection ~Glass Amulet from Instanbul~

Beautiful! Just arrived from Istanbul this week! Measures about 5 1/2 inches across. Very nicely weighted.
 
My favorite book on the Evil Eye, is "The Evil Eye- a Classic Account of an Ancient Superstition". This book covers the meaning, the origins, the broad history, the types of evil eye, the afflictions, from an Egyptian, Greek, Roman (and other culture's) perspective. Amulets, folklore, chams, spells..... it's all covered.
